To create an accommodating atmosphere that doesn't compromise safety and security, we are as Management would like to consistently enforce establish some security policies as below:
We would like to encourage for the guest traveling with children to not let the children stay alone outside the balcony Please also do not let the children swim alone in our public swimming pool since no life guard is available.
Should there is any bomb threat on the phone, please don't get panic. We advise you to call the operator team & describe clearly about the call, type of voice of the caller (male/female), sound background of the call & any other additional information that you may remember during the conversation.
In case one day you find any suspicious item inside or outside your room, we encourage you to report about the item, stay away or leaving the area for further follow up from the hotel Management. We really appreciate should you able to support the above Safety and Security policies for our better control. Please feel free to contact our Guest Service Officer should you have any concern related to the above information in Ext. 1.

Safety Information
Procedure in the event of fire
THE 1O1 BALI OASIS SANUR is equipped with a fire alarm system. All of our staff are trained to deal with emergency situations quickly and efficiently. Smoke detectors are installed throughout the hotel as well as in the guest rooms. The hotel also has an electronic internal alarm system that constantly monitors the interior of the entire building and automatically passes any fire alarms onto the nearest Fire Brigade Station.
In case of emergency
We urgently request that you familiarize yourself with the location of the emergency exits, fire alarm system and fire extinguisher as well including the following Safety Instructions. Please take note of the Emergency Exit Plan which is located at your room's entrance.
Please try to observe the points en route to your room:
Locate the nearest emergency exit to your room. Count and remember the number of doors between your room and that exit. Open the emergency exit door and take a look at the stairway behind it. Locate the nearest fire alarm and fire extinguisher.
What to do if you notice fire:
If there is fire or smoke in your room, leave immediately. If you are in the corridor activate the nearest fire alarm. Alarm buttons are installed near every elevator. If possible, close all doors near the fire so that it cannot spread. The smoke proof doors in the corridors can be closed using the button next to them. Please do not take any personal risk, only attempt to put out small fires with the aid of an extinguisher, if safe to do so. In case of a large fire, leave building immediately. Please keep calm!
If you notice a fire, please remember the following points:
Call the emergency number if you can
Close all windows and doors
Keep calm
What to do if the alarm is given while you are in your room:
Leave your room immediately!
Lifts should not be used in the event of fire
The emergency staircase is available as an emergency exit route
Fire doors close automatically but remain operational for rescue purpose
If you leave your room to go to the nearest emergency exit, please proceed as follows:
Carefully open the door and establish whether there is smoke in the corridor
If only a little smoke is visible, make your way as rapidly as possible to the next emergency exit!
If it is dark, feel your way along the wall and count the doors to the emergency exit!
Proceed in a crouched position, as the air on the ground is better than on higher levels!
Never try to go through thick smoke!
Don't use the elevators!
Always remember to be calm!
What to do if you cannot leave your room
Call the emergency number and inform of your situation
Remain in your room, if exit is blocked, this is the safest place to be
Place wet towels and sheets against the foot of the door to prevent smoke from entering your room
Take the curtains down, if the fire reaches the window from outside at least no material will be set alight
Keep wastepaper baskets ready for use as buckets so that you can keep towels and sheets at the door wet
Make yourself noticeable and wave a sheet at the window as a signal to Fire brigade that your room is occupied
Cover your mouth and nose with a damp clothes to ease breathing
Do not break any windows unless necessary
Closed windows to prevent draughts of air feeding the fire
Consider your actions carefully and remain calm

Warning of Money Changer
Dear Guest, please be extremely cautious when exchanging foreign currency at any shops along the street of Bali. These unscrupulous so called "Authorized Money Changers" offer high exchange rates to lure you into their shops. Once inside, you might be manipulated and short-changed.
Consequently, we advise our guests to take note of the following:
You so choose to utilize their service, please count the rupiah carefully yourself.
Never be distracted by their accomplice who may try to strike a conversation while you are counting the rupiah.
Never respond to a call or turn your head. Keep your eyes on the stack of money while counting.
Observes the hands, and body movements of the "Money Changer" facing you.
If a stack of rupiah falls off the table don't bother to recount. Just call off the whole transaction. By the sleight of hands, you may end up being their victims.
OUR RECOMMENDATIONS:
Change your currency from a reputable Bank.
Only use an "Authorized" money changer and bring your own calculator.
Always re-count your money before leaving the money changer.
Passport are only required for changing Travelers Cheques therefore leave your passport secure in your in-room safety deposit box when changing cash.
Room and Balcony Regulation
Dear Guests,
In respect to local custom and other guests, hanging wet clothes on the balcony is not acceptable. Clothes line are available in the bathroom. Our laundry service is open 7 days a week.
Being in tropical country we suggest not to leave any food in the room and please keep the terrace door closed even when you are inside, in order to avoid intrusion of mosquitoes, insects or other rodents.

To minimize the use of chemical, we recommend our housekeeping department to change the collection of linens & towels every two days instead of daily.
To minimize the energy and electricity usage, please turn off the AC, lighting and TV upon leaving the guestroom.
To converse the limited amount of water in Bali, please close all water tap in the bathroom and basin when it is not needed.
